Halloween Goody Box using the Toil & Trouble Suite!

Hello Crafty Friends,

I am back again with more Halloween goodness to share with you!  This time I decided to make my own little goody box!

I decided to use more of the cute ghost paper I used for the card I made.  The witches hat, cauldron, and black cat were all cut directly from the Toil & Trouble Designer Series paper.  Isn’t it awesome that Stampin’ Up! made sure the Cauldron Framelits fit the images in the paper as well as the stamps?  The spider webs are also part of the Cauldron Framelits.  I made the Lolly or Accordion paper decoration by cutting a strip of Highland Heather card stock at 1 1/4 by 11.  I then scored it every 1/4 inch.  I adhered the ends together and pushed it all together to make the lolly.  I have found the best way to keep it together is with a glue gun.  I made a belly band out of the Highland Heather paper as well. This was cut at 1 1/2 x 11.  It was just a little short going around so I added a patch of paper that you can’t see under the lolly to keep it all together. I have the Lolly popped up with dimensionals and also added some off the black 1/8 cord to finish things off.  To make the bottom of the box I started with a piece of Basic Black Card Stock cut to 7 1/2 x 7 1/2. I then scored this paper on all 4 sides at 2 inches. For the top of the box I cut out a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square of the Toil & Trouble DSP.  This was scored on all 4 sides at 1 inch.  To make it into a box you need to cut flaps on each end so you can fold it into a box.

Now I am ready to give someone an extra special treat this Halloween.  Will you be making any special treat for your favorite ghouls and goblins?

Remember you will be able to order these wonderful new items as of September 5th!  Still need a catalog?  Let me know and I will send you one!
